Recently I bought Ottolenghi's cookbook and I have been exploring it. Mostly I bought it because I decided to eat healthier meals and he has tons of recipes where vegetables are the main characters. So I figured it would be a good source of inspiration for a new more varied diet.

As it turns out it also has a LOT of dessert and cake recipes... It appears I was attracted by the end of the book instantly. So I put my new healthy eating habits on pause and decided to test his chocolate fudge cake.

Hello again! I have not been posting as much as I would like to... Starting a business is a lot harder and takes a lot more time than I had anticipated. Specially because I am trying to navigate a whole new side of Paris I wasn’t familiar with. Hahah All things considered I think all is going well and I am very happy with my new endeavors.

This year I have also started teaching pastry! This for me is the highlight of my week... so there’s also that to prepare. We have been discovering the world of French pastry one delicious recipe at a time and so far it has been great. I for one enjoy those 3 hours with my students a lot, and lucky me they do to!

Happy New Year! Even though it’s already the middle of January! I haven’t been very constant with the blog lately, but this will change this year.

Last year was a year of changes, big ones. Happy ones. I got married to the love of my life, the most wonderful man on earth; we moved to our first home together which implied changing neighborhoods and kind of getting to know the city again; and I started my online pastry shop!
